Mar Athanasius College (MAC) Scholarships
The Government of Kerala offers many scholarships to the minorities in the region and every institute that comes under it has to follow the same scheme while assisting. Following are the Scholarships offered to the students:
- Meritorious Students Scholarship: Eligible students must have scored the highest marks in the last qualifying examination with no previous backlogs. The candidate should be pursuing undergraduate or Postgraduate courses from colleges recognized by the Government of Kerala.
- Economically Backward Student Scholarship: The candidates who have scored more than 80% marks in the previous examinations with no backlogs and have a family income should be less than 3 lakhs are eligible for this scholarship.
Mar Athanasius College (MAC) Facilities
Following are the facilities offered by the institute to cater to the need of the students and the faculty members:
- Library: The library consists of 69435 books, 56 periodicals, 40 journals,11 newspapers,6000 e-journals,31,00,000 e-books and 780 CDs and DVDs.Other facilities offered by the library are open-access collection, document lending, assistance in document searching, Reference services, free internet browsing facility, ID card printing, and Inter-Library Loan.
- Grievance Redressal Cell: The grievance cell is responsible to take care of all the complaints of the students. Students can seek help from the grievance cell to solve any problem they are facing in the college.
- Sports: The institution is known in the State of Kerala for having numerous sports achievements. Many students in the college have reached the state and national level. The campus has a Multipurpose Indoor stadium, Indoor Court, Indoor Shooting Range, Swimming Pool, Athletic track, Football field, Fitness center, and Cricket ground.
- Canteen: A spacious canteen is there on the campus for the comfort of the students and the faculty. The staff makes sure that the food is nutritious in nature and made in a hygienic environment. Seating arrangements are also available.
- Classrooms: The institute has spacious classrooms with benches and tables in place to cater to the academic needs of the students. Fans and windows are there so that there is propeller ventilation in the room.
